Eildon Hall is a substantial 19th-century country house in the Scottish Borders, carefully restored to support contemporary family life while respecting its architectural heritage. Working with interior designer Olivia Emery, the project balances traditional detailing with a relaxed, liveable approach to decoration. Original features, including high ceilings, panelled joinery and generous circulation spaces, are complemented by layered colour, pattern and carefully sourced furnishings. The design style can be described as classic English country house with a contemporary sensibility, combining historic character with practical, modern interventions. The photography focuses on the rhythm of the interiors, the relationship between rooms, and the considered use of colour, texture and natural light throughout the house.
