This architectural interior photography project captures a highly inventive urban dwelling in Edinburgh, where two former street-level commercial units have been transformed into a compact yet spatially rich residential home. The design utilises a cleverly stacked interior arrangement to maximise a highly restricted footprint, reflecting a minimal, considered approach to urban living. The photography emphasises the striking dialogue between raw historic textures and contemporary engineering, with natural daylight revealing the custom perforated metal staircase and exposed masonry walls. Externally, the bold Corten steel façade is documented in both daylight and twilight, highlighting how the new intervention sits confidently yet respectfully within the surrounding Victorian sandstone streetscape.
