Location: Villa Captive, Saint Barthélemy
Project Type: Hospitality – Villa
Client: Private
Set on a private peninsula in Marigot Bay, Villa Captiva is arranged as a series of low-profile pavilions connected by landscaped paths and terraces. The architecture is restrained and coastal in character, defined by light façades, pitched roofs, and deep overhangs that provide shade and continuity between interior and exterior spaces. Interiors combine white-painted structure with dark timber joinery and built-in shelving, creating a consistent visual language throughout the property. Large openings and paired doors maximise natural light and maintain uninterrupted views toward the water. Outdoor areas are integrated into the overall plan, with covered dining terraces, an infinity pool positioned along the primary view axis, and direct access to the shoreline and private beach and dock.
