This photography project documents the Glasgow studio and retail environment of Instrmnt Applied Design (I–AD), a multidisciplinary industrial design practice known internationally for its minimalist watches and carefully considered lifestyle goods. Founded in 2014, the brand developed a distinctive design language rooted in simplicity, precision and accessibility. The interior reflects this same minimal, considered approach, with clean-lined furniture, restrained high-quality materials and a gallery-like setting that places emphasis on product and proportion. The photography focuses on clarity, balance and the relationship between object and space, capturing the quiet discipline of the studio environment. Produced shortly before the company ceased trading, the imagery records a respected Glasgow design studio whose work reached customers and retailers across the world.
