This architectural videography project documents the dynamic transformation of a Victorian townhouse in Aberdeen’s West End. The film explores how traditional heritage architecture unfolds into a bright, contemporary open-plan living space. Fluid camera movements highlight exceptional craftsmanship at every turn, tracking how natural light plays across rich parquet floors, custom birch cabinetry, and a towering 3.5-meter Accoya front door. The footage emphasises the tactile contrast between old and new, framing a sweeping solid oak staircase alongside a bold black zinc canopy and Crittall-style glazing. To establish a natural rhythm and true sense of scale, subtle moments of human interaction are introduced. These gentle lifestyle elements guide the viewer’s eye, seamlessly connecting spaces to deliver a warm, lived-in final edit.
