As we are both great admirers of good quality design and well made products it has been very satisfying to photograph luxury furniture within some of the best design showrooms in Edinburgh, London, Milan and Copenhagen.
Instead of photographing an overview shot of the entire showroom, we focus on specific design vignettes for a more aesthetically pleasing set of interior photographs that work well both together as a set, and individually on their own.
If we were to capture the showroom as a whole we would be mixing design styles, revealing too much of the showroom’s outer shell which in turn would detract from the design sets, leaving little to the imagination.
